Performance ECM upgrades are the most common type of ECM upgrade available from RICA and offer superb value for money. RICA Performance ECM upgrades are optimised to provide substanital gains in power and torque while still delivering appoximately 5-10% improvement in fuel economy. For petrol cars, 98 RON super-unleaded is recommended in order to achieve the maximum possible performance and fuel economy from the ECM upgrade. For diesel cars, standard fuel is fine.
