The BLIS option helps drivers notice cars in their blind spots. There is a camera under the mirror and a light on the inside of the car that indicates a car may be in your blind spot.
BLIS Blind Spot Information System
To further improve your convenience when reversing, the Back-Up Camera helps display what's going on behind your car. The system uses the integrated driver's information screen and a digital camera discretely located over the license plate. On-screen guiding lines provide extra assistance for smooth parking.
Cross Traffic Alert (CTA) supplements BLIS by warning the driver of crossing traffic behind your vehicle, for example, when backing out of a parking space. CTA is activated automatically if the car rolls backwards or if the reverse gear has been selected. CTA is primarily designed to detect vehicles, but can also detect smaller objects, such as cyclists and pedestrians.
CTA Cross Traffic Alert
A brake technology that assists in reducing or avoiding traffic accidents. It uses infrared sensing to monitor the distance of a vehicle in front at speeds of 19 mph or less. If it senses that a collison is likely, it will apply the brakes and even stop the car if necessary.
HDC can be compared to an automatic engine brake. The function makes it possible to increase/reduce speed on steep downhill gradients, with a foot only on the accelerator pedal, without using the footbrake. The brake system brakes itself and automatically provides a low and even speed, so allowing the driver to fully focus on steering. It can be engaged or disengaged using a switch on the center console.
Hill Descent Control
The signal reveals objects behind and in front of the car respectively. Rear parking assistance is activated by the reverse gear while the front parking assistance is activated when speed is less than 15 km/h. When indication starts, the volume of the radio/stereo is lowered and a pulsed tone is heard from the car's loudspeakers. The tone starts to become constant when the obstruction is about 80/150 cm away and increases to a continuous tone when it is less than 30 cm away from the bumper.
Park Assist, Front & Rear
The purpose of the power folding rear head restraints is to improve rearward visibility. Push a button, and the restraints flip forward instantly, improving your rear view and making it easier to back out of a parking spot or maneuver through traffic.

The rain sensor automatically starts the windshield wipers based on how much water it detects on the windshield. The sensitivity of the rain sensor can be adjusted using the thumbwheel.
